LEAP Class Spotlight: Flowerpot Painting

The Hope Awards Dinner is just one week away, and painting flowerpot centerpieces is one of the many ways we are preparing for the event. Women have spent every Friday afternoon LEAP session for the last few weeks creating these lovely flowerpots for guests at the Hope Awards Dinner, and these afternoons have been equally fun and reflective for the women who participated. flower pots Painting the flower pots has provided a peaceful, calming outlet for women in LEAP. Melinda said, “With this project, I liked that nothing can go wrong. No matter what I decided to paint, it still looked good. ” Others noted that it felt rewarding to create a tangible token of appreciation for the support they receive at Calvary, and for the gifts that make that happen.
